You are probably familiar with the stone marble trend. I have been seeing it everywhere; clothes, accessories, technology, furniture... it was just the matter of time when I was going to make a manicure inspired by it.

This time I wasn't sure how to achieve this stone marble effect so I looked for a help on YouTube. I have to confess that I don't really look for nails on YouTube and I don't really visit other blogs because I don't want them to influence my ideas and work. I am trying to be as unique as possible which is quite difficult in the nail art industry where everything has already been done by someone else. After looking for some tutorials I came upon this cutepolish tutorial which is incredible. If you are into nail art you have probably heard of her. When it comes to tutorial it looks so easy and the ending result is incredible so I decided to try it.

First I painted my nails white and let them dry. Then I added those 2 light grey polishes using saran wrap technique. The next step was the most complicated. It is explained in the cutepolish's video so take a look. Basically the first part is the same as in the water marble technique: you pour the room temperature water, add a few drops of nail polish but the last step is different. You should spray the hair spray so it makes drops all over the polish. I did everything as I supposed to but my hair spray just didn't want to work, it made all those weird lines and shapes but zero dots. At the end I just worked with what I got and I ended up with the manicure you can see above.

Honestly I didn't expect that they were going to look so amazing. I am more than happy with the result.

Do you like stone marble trend and would you rock these nails?
